This management position earns a salary of $54,000 a year with the additional potential of earning a $6,000 bonus. We provide great benefits, including 40 hours of sick pay annually. Wait there's more After 60 days of employment, we offer dental, vision, health, and supplemental insurance benefits. After 90 days of employment, employees receive an accrual of paid vacation time, 6 paid holidays, and a discounted corporate gym membership. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CREW LEADER
As a Supervisor, your main goal is to efficiently manage 4 painters teams, ensuring they are on track and being available to help them when needed. One of the ways you ensure efficiency is by communicating with clients before starting each new job. Based on what you learn from them, you're able to plan and execute each project using your exceptional time management skills. By holding brief meetings periodically throughout the day you stay informed about the job's progress and communicate any needed adjustments with your teammates. You also use your exceptional leadership skills to train less experienced painters so that they can improve their skills. Some of your other responsibilities include ordering supplies, estimating labor requirements, mapping a timeline, closing out jobs, giving performance assessments, attending meetings, and preparing work orders. No matter what type of job you're managing, you consistently complete projects on time and within the budget. You find great fulfillment in leading a cohesive team of painters and using your skills to contribute to our company's success
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge about alkyd materials and paint chemistry including vehicle, binder, and pigment
- Complete knowledge of MSDS and tech datasheet uses
- Basic carpentry skills including the ability to replace, install, and repair fascia board, door trim, door casings, and baseboards
- Basic knowledge of job costing and the ability to estimate small jobs up to $1,500
- Valid driver's license
- Communication skills, being a natural coach, and having great conflict resolution.
