In this rewarding role, you will:

Draft and negotiate the most complex contracts in accordance with programmatic and prime contract requirements, applicable laws, QTC/Leidos procedures, and good business practices. Review customer contracts (including contracts with the Federal Government) and develop accurate subcontracts based on the contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements. Research and understand FAR, DFAR, and healthcare regulations and advise stakeholders on contractual compliance. Provide cross-functional consultation on contracts to ensure goods and services adequately support all of QTC’s operations, programs, functions, and sites. Manage and draft RFPs/RFQs/RFIs. Conduct market research to find potential vendors and contractors and ensure best value for QTC. Closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bring contracts and procurements to a successful conclusion. Assess contract language and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual requirements. Communicate contractual issues and statuses to senior leadership and take ownership over the resolution of resultant action items. Minimize contract revenue/value leakage and address contract risk. Manage, develop, draft, and update contracting and procurement templates, as needed. Develop and produce contract management reports and manage the contract lifecycle from cradle to grave, including post-execution activities, renewals, and terminations, among others. Manage company-wide workflow improvement projects, such as implementing contract management systems and workflow improvement efforts. Bring greater efficiency into current operations by identifying and analyzing existing roadblocks and proposing potential solutions to internal stakeholders. Manage insurance-related matters. Train stakeholders on contracting policies, procedures, and systems. Liaise with the relevant support departments, such as legal and insurance. Post and maintain contracting documents in contract lifecycle management systems. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

You must have:

A bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare or equivalent experience/combined education.  Healthcare sector experience. Expert knowledge in FAR/DFAR. + years of experience with all aspects of the contracts lifecycle, from initiation to performance management to termination. Experience with government and commercial contracting. Experience with commonly used business software.  An ability to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
