Job Overview:
As an Overnight Nurse at Stonegate Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and medical care of our clients during nighttime hours. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate and effective nursing care in a residential treatment setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring and medication administration.
• Monitor and respond to changes in clients' medical conditions and behavior.
• Administer treatments and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care.
• Provide education and support to clients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans.
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure client safety and address any immediate medical needs.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures related to nursing practice.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education activities.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or LVN license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health or addiction treatment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
• Knowledge of addiction and mental health disorders is a plus.
