Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of construction law and experience in handling complex litigation matters. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including contractors, developers, and subcontractors, while advancing your career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in construction-related disputes, including contract disputes, claims for damages, and regulatory issues.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, from pre-trial preparation to trial and post-trial matters.
  • Advise clients on risk management and compliance with construction laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with experts, witnesses, and other stakeholders to build compelling cases.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends impacting construction law.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Virginia State Bar membership.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in construction litigation or related practice areas.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent negotiation and client management skills.
