Shifts & Pay:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM - Pay based in Experience starting from $21.00 per hour

What’s a typical day as an Mechanical Evaluation Technician?
  • Adhering to all SOPs, policies, and procedures.
  • Following defined Quality Management Systems and completing all required documentation.
  • Performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis of medical devices using various instruments.
  • Applying technical knowledge to interpret information and determine root causes.
  • Writing clear and concise technical evaluation summaries.
  • Assisting in repair and test areas as needed.
  • Training employees on an as-needed basis.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


What is required to become an Evaluation Technician?
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can work well independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Possess basic math skills and proficient computer skills.
  • Are able to determine root cause of failure and perform basic statistical analysis.
  • Have the ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Can wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Are willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Mechanical skills
 
Education and/or Experience:
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical certification and 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices.
OR
  • High School diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices.
