Evaluation Technician

Shifts & Pay:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM - Pay based in Experience starting from $21.00 per hour
What’s a typical day as an Mechanical Evaluation Technician?
- Adhering to all SOPs, policies, and procedures.
- Following defined Quality Management Systems and completing all required documentation.
- Performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis of medical devices using various instruments.
- Applying technical knowledge to interpret information and determine root causes.
- Writing clear and concise technical evaluation summaries.
- Assisting in repair and test areas as needed.
- Training employees on an as-needed basis.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
What is required to become an Evaluation Technician?
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Can work well independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Possess basic math skills and proficient computer skills.
- Are able to determine root cause of failure and perform basic statistical analysis.
- Have the ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Can wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) and perform physical tasks as required.
- Are willing to work overtime as needed.
- Mechanical skills
Education and/or Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent technical certification and 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices.
- High School diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices.
