Job Description

Position Title:     Primeline Stacker/Grader                
    Division:         Millwork             

Purpose 
How does the position contribute to the success of the operation, division and company?

The Primeline Stacker/Grader is responsible for supporting the Primeline Operator by confirming quality and preparing the product for the customer. 

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Expectations and Performance Measures What measures or metrics will the individual be measured on and what level of performance is required?  Other duties may be assigned.
•    Stack moulding as it comes out of the Primeline into rolling racks or onto units. 
•    Visually inspect moulding for defects.
•    Patch and cutback material as needed.
•    Wrap and package product to meet customer specifications.
•    Create tags for completed orders in SAP. 
•    Support the Primeline Operator in completing changeovers and maintaining an orderly work area. 
•    Assist with the training of those who are new to the work center.

Reporting Line and Supervisory Responsibilities
The Primeline Stacker/Grader reports to the Production Supervisor. 
Physical Demands and Work Environment 
What working conditions or physical functions are normally required to perform the essential functions of the job?
The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level is moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
