What You’ll Contribute to OHM Advisors

The qualified person will coordinate work assignments, maintain standards and processes, train and mentor our Ohio CADD team. The role will require being involved in the design process and doing quality control for about 70% of the time. You will be expected to attend workload meetings in our three Ohio offices and manage staffing levels of drafters/designers reporting to you. This position will report to the Director of CADD and assist with long-term planning and strategy.

Your Responsibilities

Maintain documentation of Ohio client CADD standards. Mentor and train staff to use those standards and the design software (Civil 3d and OpenRoads) Manage CADD staff through goal setting, task assignment, reviews, and salary recommendations. Be a productive part of the drafting and design team, maintaining a 70% utilization rate. Review completed tasks from other designers to maintain quality. Participate in long-term planning with the Director of CADD to facilitate group growth and excellence. Communicate with the project team throughout the process. Demonstrate strong project organization skills

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Advanced knowledge of Civil 3d including Profiles, Corridors, Pipe Networks, Grading, and plan production. Strong problem-solving skills to assist with software issues. Must be organized and able to communicate effectively to build and motivate the team. Knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads is a must. Should be technically savvy and able to stay current on design software. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
