POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the planning, developing, organizing, implementing and directing the day to day operations of the clinic functions and Hospitalist’s functions. Develops and implements policies related to clinic practice and physician practice. Monitors and reports financial performance of clinic practice and Hospitalist’s practice. . Manages billing and business office functions. Responsible for human resources functions for the clinic including hiring and performance management of staff, and works in tanden with the HR Manager (VCC). Assures appropriate compliance with applicable laws and regulations
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have a minimum two years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, clinic or practice setting or three years substantial healthcare , specifically medical practice accounting, third party reimbursement issues, patient flow and facilities management.
2. Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, health care administration systems, governmental regulations and compliance requirments. and objectives
, sound judgement and problem-solving techinques in the decision making process
4. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
1 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Health Administration required; Master’s in related field (MBA, MHA) preferred.
