Position at JBS USA Essential Functions: Receiving: Receiving, sampling and testing inbound ingredient trucks, and completing related paperwork. Grinding, Batching, Mixing and Pelleting: Grinding, batching, mixing and pelleting operations, maximizing productivity and quality of each process, including the use of a computerized plant control system. Loadout: Loading outbound feed trucks and completing related paperwork. Product Quality: Manufacture products which conform to the product formula, process standards and quality specifications. Safety: Follow safety rules and standards. Production Records: Completing accurately all necessary production records. Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and orderly mill. Success Factors: Success factors for a Feed Mill Technician include being reliable, disciplined, capable of working with minimal supervision, prioritizing safety, demonstrating a strong work ethic by willingly handling any necessary tasks, consistently approaching work with a competitive mindset, and a genuine desire to uphold JBS's mission and values. Job Qualifications: Required• Basic math & computer skills.• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds. Able to operate power industrial equipment. • Attention to detail. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). • Ability to clean and organize work areas.• Interpersonal skills for working with other employees.• Available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed. Flexible to cover other shifts as needed. Working Conditions: Will be exposed to the elements depending on task at hand Will be required to climb ladders and work on elevated platforms. Work somewhat close to other people, such as when sharing work space.
