You will be instrumental in expanding Klay Media's reach and revenue, leveraging our market position to forge impactful, profitable partnerships and drive sustained growth.This multifaceted position involves:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Collaborate closely with the Strategy, SEO, and Content teams to develop and implement strategies aligned with Klay Media's vision and objectives by gaining deep insights into market trends, consumer behaviors, and opportunities in relevant sectors.
  • Strategic Partnerships and Relationship Building: Proactively seek and establish strategic partnerships, especially within the financial services, small business, and home services sectors, by understanding brands' unique needs and positioning Klay Media as an essential partner for mutual growth.
  • Negotiation and Deal Brokering: Utilize market valuation and negotiation skills to secure high-value deals that maximize revenue while maintaining strong brand relationships, with a focus on monetizing all links in our commerce content.
  • Monetization Optimization: Continuously refine monetization strategies to ensure alignment with evolving market dynamics, exploring new avenues for monetization and adjusting existing strategies to optimize performance.
  • Affiliate Content and Partnership Management: Oversee and optimize affiliate content and partnerships, ensuring profitability and alignment with Klay Media's brand values and strategic direction.
  • Performance Tracking and Maximizing Returns: Regularly track and analyze partnership performance, using data-driven insights to inform future strategies that enhance profitability and market share.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Provide visionary leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, guiding internal teams to produce commercially viable and engaging content while balancing multiple brand partnerships with agility and strategic foresight.

Here's What You Bring to the Team:

  • Proven Experience in Partnership Development: A successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or related fields, preferably within the digital marketing or media industry.
  • Strategic Thinker with Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes to develop strategic plans that drive business growth. Proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools and market research techniques is essential.
  • Strong Negotiation and Deal-Making Skills: Proven track record of negotiating and closing high-value partnerships, with the ability to navigate complex deal structures and maintain positive relationships with partners.
  • Understanding of Financial Services Sector: Familiarity with the financial services industry and experience in establishing partnerships within this sector would be highly advantageous.
  • Monetization Expertise: Thorough understanding of monetization strategies, particularly in the context of content-driven commerce, affiliate marketing, and performance-based partnerships.
  • Leadership and Team Management Abilities: Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally. Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term partnerships.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field: A degree in a relevant field is preferred, although equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Passion for Commerce-Centered Content: Enthusiasm for the intersection of content creation, digital marketing, and e-commerce, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging content that drives conversions.
