Job Title: U.S. Alpine Race Manager 

Job Location: 1413 Centre Drive, Park City, UT 84098 (Summit County)

Job Duties:

Manage the Junior Racing program in U.S. by providing support, athlete management, including team selection and product allocation, recruitment of elite junior racers.Support the Racing Centers/Clubs, including the creation of a mutually beneficial relationship with brands and Race Centers/Clubs to continue to evolve the execution/direction of the junior program in United States, coaches’ product program and budgets as well as coaches’ education.Manage and track the athlete budget, travel entertainment and other racing budgets with the support of the Management Team.Manage and execute boot building program for Junior athletes and work with and support National and Global Race athletes as needed.Execute administrative responsibilities in relation to Athlete, team, coach, and community programs.Assist in the planning, creation, and execution of global Racing marketing strategies for the U.S. market.Act as primary liaison with global racing team and community managers and provide team development and content development and delivery.Support Brand Communication and Sports Marketing initiatives.Develop and maintain network of relevant media, industry, partner, and peers to maximize exposure for Group WSE (World Wise) brands, athletes, and initiatives.Join Racing committees to support Group WSE position in the North American racing community.Collaborate with Management to forecast the company’s annual product needs and create equipment orders and to forecast the U.S. Ski team for product and budget needs.Maintain synergies, communication, information flow with the Canadian Race managers, Clubs, coaches, and race shops.Work closely with various other departments and report to International Race Business Leader.Minimum Requirements:Must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field of study, as well as 2 yearsof work experience in a sport brand-related environment, which experience shall include the following:2 years of experience as an Alpine ski coach.2 years of experience as an Alpine ski athlete.2 years of experience with proprietary systems, such as B2B site and Pivot Link; and,2 years of experience in ski boot fitting craftsmanship.Must have a valid passport.Must have a driver’s license – any state.
