Part-Time Physical Therapist

Location: Saugus, MA

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team part-time in Saugus, MA. This position involves providing services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade during specified periods from May to August. If you are passionate about helping students achieve their physical therapy goals and thrive academically and socially, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' physical therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals to improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and mobility.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in individual or group settings based on their IEP goals and educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and integration into educational activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Massachusetts state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings, preferably in schools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Schedule:

  • Part-time position, 2 full days a weekplus compensatory services.
  • Dates: May 15th to June 13th, and July 5th to August 3rd.
  • Total of 14 hours per week during the specified periods.
