Acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers, and is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company. Instructs students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on thorough knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum. Duties and Responsibilities: Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner. Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques. Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach. Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum. Evaluates students’ progress, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner. Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills. Acts as a GSS “ambassador” to ensure parental satisfaction. Reports accidents and incidents to management. Completes required documentation and paperwork. Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer. Education/Experience : High school diploma or GED is preferred, or currently in High School. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor and/or childcare provider preferred. Certificates and Licenses : Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (Training Provided) Work Environment : While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.

Full time is carrying a yearly schedule of 36+ hours. Additional benefits include: 40 hours PTO in addition to EST, Paid holidays if they fall on a day you would work (NY Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and NYE), $100 monthly stipend toward your medical insurance with monthly receipt. All benefits are offered after 90 days of employment. Compensación: $15.75 - $18.75 per hour
