Dart Container is seeking a talented Industrial Designer (Mid or Sr Level) to join our dynamic team.

In this role:

You'll be responsible for creating innovative product designs and packaging solutions. Your tasks will include sketching, rendering, and prototyping based on project requirements, managing design projects of various sizes and complexities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the development of new and improved products. Additionally, you'll translate marketing insights into compelling design concepts, participate in ideation sessions, create presentation materials, and ensure project documentation is complete.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

Industrial Designer Requires the Following:

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in industrial design, product design or related design field of study Industrial Design experience to include participating in the design development process utilizing project management and design strategy Visual portfolio required for consideration Ability to utilize hand and mechanical measuring systems, experience with 3D scanning is a plus Experience with prototyping (3D printing, CNC, metal/wood/foam fabrication) Strong observational skills, end user empathy, and the ability to identify insights from various forms of qualitative research Ability to combine creative thinking and industrial design skills with industry trends to provide unique brand and product experiences Proficiency in 2D sketching and ideation using digital and traditional tools to visualize ideas and rapidly brainstorm ideas Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator High proficiency with 3D CAD software such as Fusion 360, Solidworks, or Rhino High proficiency with Rendering software such as KeyShot, Unity, or Blender

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as Fusion 360 Proficiency with Rendering software such as KeyShot Familiarity with Unigraphics NX Animation, graphic design and/or model making experience
