Schedule:  Full Time

Shift : Â Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm ; Class Starts May 6th thru June 18th.

Location:  100 HOSPITAL DRIVE, Hendersonville, 28792

The role youâ€ll contribute:  Employee is hired to complete 6-week medical assistant program and will be required to pass NHA exam. This is a partnership with Blue Ridge Community College.

The value youâ€ll bring to the team 

Provide patient care in the office setting. Provide care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician. Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards. Ability to assist nursing and medical staff with routine examinations and patient treatments. This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population. Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

 

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youâ€ll need to succeed:

High school graduate or equivalent required. Must complete 6-week CMA course upon hire through AdventHealth Hendersonville and pass NHA exam at end of course. Current American Heart Association BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
