DESCRIPTION

The Roadway Design Engineer will provide project active leadership for the successful delivery of roadway projects within our Ridgeland, MS office. We are looking for a candidate possessing strong verbal and written skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead design efforts on transportation projects. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated success in the delivery of roadway projects. Specific leadership characteristics will include:

Desire to be responsible for developing design plans, variations and exceptions, specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages Demonstrated ability to lead and manage the design of specific roadway tasks Willingness to help create and foster a team environment Assistance in marketing pursuits by developing concepts, and providing technical support on letters of responses Experience with MDOT on traditional design bid-build projects and/or design-build highway projects

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of related experience BSCE in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer in Mississippi or ability to obtain within 6 months Proficient with Bentley Open Roads Experience with MDOT on roadway projects

COMPENSATION  

The approximate compensation range for this position is $64,325 to $102,376. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
