My client has an immediate opening for a Medical Optometrist

Key Responsibilities:  

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for the treatment of and management of vision and complex eye diseases.
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses.
• Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Promote healthy vision through counseling and educating patients.
• Maintain detailed patient records regarding prognosis, treatment plans, and progress.
• Provide appropriate response to eye care emergencies.

Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
• Fully Licensed.
• 2+ years of Optometry experience handling a mixed medical/primary care patient load.
• Team player who prioritizes quality patient care and safety.
• Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills.
