$27.30 - $42.47 per hour, depending on experience.Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem (Shift Varies) / OverviewPer diem, 12 hour shifts - shifts varyTo ensure that Respiratory Therapy services rendered (the evaluation and treatment of patients) are completed in a timely, accurate and reliable manner. Those served include inpatients, outpatients, UHS staff and employees as well as affiliated UHS community groups as needed.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Education/ExperienceMinimum Required:Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory TherapyPreferred:One (1) year experience as a Respiratory TherapistLicense/CertificationMinimum Required:New York State Respiratory Therapy Permit or LicenseRegistered by the NBRC as a Respiratory TherapistCPR and ACLS Certification within 3 months of hireWork Environment
Work is performed on all patient care units mostly at bedside. Ability to push equipment. Limited access to O2 outlets.Age of Patients Served
