JOB SUMMARY

 The Landscape Enhancement Foreman will lead a team responsible for the detailed install and maintenance of the residential landscapes. As the team Foreman, you will work alongside your team ensuring quality, safety and efficiency throughout the workday. In addition, you will coordinate closely with your direct supervisor to help plan and prepare for the work, evaluate and train your team members, and continuously improve the team’s workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES  

Work with Account managers to install enhancement projects. To train and coach the enhancement team to be more proficient and detail oriented.  After receiving a plant list from Account managers you will order and arrange pickup of plant material including proper type mulch.  Organize plant and irrigation material to always be on hand for installation of projects.  Install or repair additions to irrigation systems. Install landscape plants at proper depths with correct plant orientation. Ensure all plantings have been properly watered-in after install to prevent air pockets. Install mulch to proper depth and clean up afterwards. Properly trim and remove plant debris in a professional manner Adjust any dry or over watered areas within the landscape. Make sure all vehicles and trailers are road worthy and in proper working condition. All other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 

2 + years of supervisor role within landscape installation or maintenance. Correctly follow landscape and irrigation plans at proper scale. Ability to install basic irrigation systems with proper plant coverage. Effective at collaborating and learning from others. Ability to carry out instructions to complete projects, and seek guidance from a member of leadership when needed. Ability to communicate effectively verbally. Good time management skills. Ability to teach how to safely and proficiently operate small and large equipment to team members as needed. Ability to identify safety issues and resolve quickly and inform the Account Manager.. Ability to grow in position with continual learning of plants, and development of skills in the technical areas of the job.

REQUIRED LICENSES / HOURS OF WORK 

Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.

40+ hours per work week with start and end times varying depending on organizational needs. Will be required to work overtime during peak times.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold), and moving mechanical equipment. In addition, job sites are located on both residential and commercial property. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to effectively use small hand tools, equipment. Requires sitting, standing, bending and walking for long periods of time during the day and night. Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
