Summary

Assists in providing age-specific, pediatric through geriatric, patient centered care in accordance with respective unit based protocols. Under the direct supervision of the RN, the CNA performs specific delegated tasks as they relate to ADLs and the promotion of outcome based patient centered care in a variety of settings. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. License/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited CNA program. BLS Certified. Certification in Management of Aggressive Behaviors preferred. Experience: N/A In good standing on the Maine State CNA Registry Demonstrates the ability to effectively interact with multiple and diverse patient populations.
