About this role Duties involve theadministration and managing of the Company records and systemsincluding SMS interface documents Risk Assessments Lifting plansand QMS.
Reporting into the Crane Op Maintainer FocalPoint the incumbent will support the Focal Point with daytodaytasks as required as well as operating and maintaining all platformcranes and gantry cranes.
Liaise on Company / personalmatters with the Business Manager or Operations & MaintenanceEngineer.
The primary responsibility is to ensureequipment integrity by carrying out routine and breakdownmaintenance servicing and lubrication of all platform Cranes &Gantry Cranes in accordance with Client planned preventativemaintenance routines and manufacturers manuals/servicecharts.
Competently operate platform pedestal cranes andgantry cranes under the direction of nominated Client personnel.Crane operating duties are restricted to the specific crane(s) andplatform(s) on which the employee has been deemed competent.Operations should be carried out in accordance with the authorisedoperators instructions manual platform operating proceduresappropriate sections of the Companys Quality Assurance Manual (i.e.SI01) and other relevant documentation.
Ensure plannedmaintenance programme is carried out as agreed by Operations &Maintenance Engineer and Focal Point ensuring that all othermaintenance work is completed and information is recorded on theClient maintenance management system.
Liaise daily withFocal Point and Operations & Maintenance Engineer to advisethem of status of ongoing work highlighting any possible problems /concerns.
Maintain a log book in each crane for recordinglubrication carried out work carried out defects list and anyoperational problems.
The incumbent is responsible forgiving a detailed report of any Incident involving Sparrowspersonnel to the Business Manager Operations & MaintenanceEngineer and Focal Point within 24 hours of the event.
Maintain platform cranes in a clean tidy and where applicablewatertight condition including cabs machinery housings and externalsurfaces. External and internal paintwork should be retained in acorrosion free condition.
Participate in platform riskassessment process to ensure that all lifting activities arethoroughly reviewed and risks controlled prior toimplementation.
It is the responsibility of the incumbentto fully familiarise themselves with all installation Safety andEmergency Procedures.
Carry out additionalresponsibilities as a Heli Deck Team Member.
HSEQResponsibilities It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiarwith and follows the Companys Health Safety Environment and QualityManagement System and takes an active part in the compliance andimprovement of the Management Systems.
The incumbent mustreport any accidents incidents near misses actual or potentialproblems with products services or systems according to theManagement System processes/procedures.
The incumbentalso has legal responsibilities under countryspecific health safetyand/or environmental legislation to follow these.
Theincumbent is also responsible for the health and safetyarrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visitingthem while on the Company premises.
