Muckleshoot Tribal School Seeks FT Social Worker (Auburn, WA)
Are you a passionate social worker dedicated to supporting the well-being of students?
Muckleshoot Tribal School is seeking a qualified and compassionate social worker to join our team in Auburn, WA. This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) on-site position that plays a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic success of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students addressing a variety of social-emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement comprehensive student support plans.
- Conduct crisis intervention and provide ongoing support to students facing challenges.
- Advocate for student needs and connect families with appropriate resources within the school and community.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in school social work.
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
- Possession of a valid Washington State Social Work License (preferred).
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting (preferred).
- Strong understanding of child development, social-emotional learning (SEL), and trauma-informed practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Culturally competent and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
