Job Purpose or Objective(s): The intern will gain insight in critical areas of the business by working in various capacities within multiple departments to receive the on-the-job experience necessary to grow into a Food and Beverage management role. 

Our Summer Intern Program is an 8-week temporary, paid program that runs from June 3rd - July 26th, 2024. 

Internships are only open to Choctaw Nation tribal members currently enrolled in college. 

Primary Tasks:

Recognize how each area contributes to business objectives. Including but not limited to reporting structure, purpose and scope, and financial impact.  Participate in daily operations within the organization to gain insight into the many facets of the business and receive exposure to all operational aspects.  Work on real-life business projects and make meaningful contributions.  Complete rotations in each area as assigned.  Lead special projects related to the operations and administration of the facility driving improvement initiatives to meet the business needs.  Work side by side with successful professionals throughout the organization to gain first-hand experience. Complete a personalized training program for individualized career goals.  Maintain and present a positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude toward job and organization. Support and build knowledge with each location’s leadership team. Other duties as assigned. 

Required Education, Skills and Experience:  

MINIMUM

Choctaw CDIB cardholder or Choctaw Tribal Member Currently attending an accredited college, university or post-secondary educational institution. Proven team player, willing to work collaboratively with utmost professionalism. Proven work ethic with willingness to learn/adopt applicable trade skills, innovation and technology. Recognized ability to be punctual, work weekends and flexible hours.
