Our work depends on a Software Engineer joining our team to provide engineering, architectural, full lifecycle, integration, sustainment and documentation support for Linux, Splunk and cloud-based systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Linux hosts such as RHEL or CENTOS in an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying worldwide enterprise solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and managing Linux operating systems.
  • Demonstrated experience working with AWS-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting network components.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing operating systems enhancements.
  • Demonstrated experience prototyping enterprise scale solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with writing scripts in Bash and Python.
  • Demonstrated experience executing shell scripts.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying applications.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and supporting Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with Nessus.
  • Demonstrated experience using Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience performing detailed analysis

DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated experience with VMWare and RAID configurations.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloudwatch.
  • Demonstrated experience using the Atlassian Suite of tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
  • Demonstrated experience using the command line to interact with LDAP repositories.
  • Demonstrated experience with XML schemas.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s systems lifecycle.
  • Certifications (any or all of the certifications listed):
    o VMWare Certified Professional.
    o AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
    o Red Hat System Certified Administrator.
