POSITION SUMMARY

The Resident Intern will work alongside Dominium employees, with the guidance of a mentor, to complete assigned tasks from the different areas of property management. Interns will learn a variety of personal and professional development skills, and gain exposure to many aspects of the property management industry.

Open only to current residents of a Dominium-owned property Internship Dates: September , – December , No weekends, no late hours, and no commute  PAID Internship and excellent opportunity to enhance college resumes, and opens doors to work during college/post-secondary education 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

General office and maintenance tasks including but not limited to answering telephones, delivering resident notices, general appearance, and maintenance of the property Complete a Capstone Project Timely and regular attendance Display professionalism Ability to work independently Use learning tasks to grow an understanding of property management Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training, and Experience):

At least years of age Prefer students with high school graduation dates between – Have met or are meeting minimum academic requirements for graduation Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing Well-developed people skills; an ability to work with a variety of personalities and situations in a friendly outgoing and professional manner Basic math skills for calculating rent payments, deposits, application fees, pet fees, interest, etc. Familiarity with computers and computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
