Fives North American Combustion, Inc. is hiring a permanent, full-time CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) to join our team in Cleveland, OH.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be:

Set up and run CNC equipment utilizing Fanuc controls. Follow work instructions to maintain specifications; observe milling, drilling, tapping, grooving, and cutting operations; take measurements; detect malfunctions and troubleshoot processes; adjust and reprogram controls; sharpen and replace worn tools; and adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes. Read mics, calipers, OD's, tool pre-setting/comparators, dial bore gauges, and make proper tool offsets in the machine tool, as well as proper speeds & feeds. Perform routine maintenance. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs. Read blueprints and inspect parts. Check the accuracy of work against blueprints.

Ability to work 2nd shift. 3-5 years of CNC machine operating/set-up experience. Experience in machining castings, iron castings preferred. Previous lathe and mill experience. Associate degree from a 2-year college or technical school or 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education & experience.
