Bachelor of Science in Nursing, current Minnesota RN licensure, public health certificate Licensed School Nurse (LSN) form Minnesota Department of Education/PELSB or ability to meet MDE requirements Experience coordinating care for students with chronic health conditions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Three years of nursing experience preferred Able to work independently in a fast-paced office Understanding and knowledge of the following competencies:Pediatric/adolescent nursing-child development Public health/community health and mental health nursing Crisis intervention and emergency management, including CPR certification Infectious disease Special Education services Ability to perform skilled nursing care such as catheterization, suctioning, gastrostomy tube feedings, insulin administration and nebulizer treatments, etc. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferredResponsible To:
