Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Program Development: Create, implement, and monitor effective behavior intervention strategies that promote student success in the classroom and beyond.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistency in implementing behavior plans and support strategies.
- Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to staff and parents on behavior management techniques and best practices.
- Data Management: Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of interventions, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes for students.
- Certification: Current BCBA certification is required.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities in an educational setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
- Approach: A compassionate and student-centered mindset focused on promoting positive behavior and learning.
