Substitute Cosmetologist

The Substitute Cosmetologist provides beauty services for guests by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

Performs manicures & pedicures according to licensing standards (may also assist with hair styling & make up application for group events & weddings). Interacts cooperatively with other spa team members to provide a seamless guest experience. Present a warm and professional persona towards guests and co-workers. Adheres to high professional image standard such as: dress, grooming & language. Practices the highest standard of sanitation, neatness and visual presentations. Maintains organized workstations. Completes daily check list of cleaning obligations and abides by all county, stated, and local laws and regulations regarding sanitation, cleanliness and safety. Adheres to work schedule and has good work ethics. Maintain a positive and professional attitude. Equipment utilization: Pedicure stations, nail stations, implements and sanitation equipment. When licensed to do so, may also perform additional treatments such as massage, facials, etc. Varying work hours – must be available on weekends.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Must have valid State of Vermont Cosmetology License (Esthetician License could also be considered), with at least 12 months of practice in Vermont. Past resort or hospitality experience is preferred. Must be available for predefined work schedule to include 2 week days per month (December through March) and availability to work 3 days during the weeks of Christmas and Presidents Week for a total of 14 working days throughout the winter season.
