Being a Staff Software Engineer at iManage means…

You are a passionate Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in building scalable cloud systems. You will be part of a team responsible for building an Azure (AKS) based platform that drives iManage’s modern document management products.

You will participate in the architecture, development, and deployment of critical, large-scale products. We are using modern technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Storm, Elastic Search, MariaDB Clusters, and more. We are committed to automated CI/CD, zero-touch production infrastructure, and seamless upgrades with no downtime in the cloud. iM responsible for…

Designing and developing modules and features for the iManage Work family of products in Azure cloud Working within cross-functional engineering teams as well as peer teams to build an integrated solution Collaborating with product managers to define new features Encouraging software engineering best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews, design documentation) and related tools like GitHub, JIRA Communicating, documenting, and presenting in front of technical and business audiences Striving to consistently learn and improve within the company as well as share knowledge with colleagues globally

iM qualified because I have…

A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field 7+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems Expert proficiency in Java and extensive experience developing REST API for complex systems. Exposure to full-stack development as a plus Working knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes. Familiarity with a public cloud system like Azure or AWS as a plus Proficiency with a NoSQL system. Exposure to relational database systems as a plus Design skills in one or more key technology areas: high-transaction systems, microservices-based distributed architectures, fault-tolerant designs, data, and system security Secure coding and design practices (including threat modeling) as a plus Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and build management within a Cloud/SaaS environment
