2nd Shift Cooker Specialist

We are hiring Cooker Specialist to help produce Libby's Vienna Sausages, VanCamps Baked Beans, Healthy Choice Soups, Hunt's Manwich, Hunt's Spaghetti Sauces and so much more… at our Archbold, OH manufacturing facility. You will report to a Production Supervisor and join a team of over 500 at our plant.

Shift: 2nd (approx. 2:50p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)

Location: 901 Stryker St., Archbold, OH 43502 (You will work onsite at a production facility #LI-Onsite)

Hourly Rate: $23.83 per hour plus $0.75 shift premium for 2nd shift

What Impact Will You Have On Our Business?

• You will start seniority on your first day and be retained in your position the first 12 months.
• You will assist in quality control, complete operational and system checks to maintain efficient operations of a variety of cookers.
• You will start the cooking rotation and vent sequence, open steam supply valves, close and secure main drain valves, clear cooker can jam and monitor the unloading of cans from the cookers.
• You will monitor the process, perform quality checks, take samples, and make necessary machine control adjustments.
• You will participate in and comply with plant safety and quality requirements, such as ensuring use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), performing safety checks, and observing general housekeeping expectations and 5S, and observing to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) while working in a food manufacturing facility to ensure Safe Quality Food.
