We also believe in creating a circular economy and are the largest plastic recycling company in North America. We use plastic shampoo and detergent bottles to create pipe, diverting over 500 million pounds of plastic from landfills every year. ADS operates a global network of over 60 manufacturing plants and 30 distribution centers.

Responsibilities
ADS is looking to hire an Engineering Technician 1 and Engineering Technician 2. The Engineering Technician engages in a range of support functions to increase sales, enhance the market positioning, and ensures the proper applications of ADS products. They provide technical support directly to the Engineered Product Manager(EPM) and other outside sales personnel located throughout the world. In addition to providing customer service directly to ADS customers, they will assist consulting engineers, contractors and others that influence markets for ADS products.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
This responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of StormTech chambers and ADS pipe system drawings and details. Completion of individual strategic projects with peer advisor. Integration of ADS and allied products including water quality devices into system designs. Detailing and drawing special fitting requests from the ADS sales team. Development of new standard details. Prepare material estimates, as needed, for the sales team. Assist Project Engineer with field and interdepartmental projects Ownership of project production (interaction with field and/or design engineer). Broad understanding of ADS products needed to support assigned territory. CAD detail project production with limited direction and attention to detail.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
Strong customer service skills. Intermediate computer skills (MS Office) Ability to resolve customer problems and issues. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Experience with AutoCAD or similar program. Positive representation of ADS. Background in site development. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Establish rapport with customers.Qualifications:
Two year Technical Degree in Computer Aided Drafting Associates Degree in Civil EngineeringPhysical Requirements:
