REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8 years of experience in application prototype development and a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Master's degree with 6-8 years of experience, or PhD 3-5 years of experience
  • In lieu of a Bachelors degree an additional four (4) years’ experience is required.
  • Software installation, configuration and configuration management
  • Engineer and implement virtualization, database, security, storage, and Docker systems
  • Proficient in scripting languages: shell and Python, Linux, VMware, Windows, Orchestration tools, networking protocols, Cisco IOS and large scale enterprise systems
  • Demonstrated experience with designing and constructing experimental systems, and debugging/validating the prototype
  • Able to perform initial analysis of data produced by test configuration
  • Self-directed, able to work effectively with minimal requirements and supervision
  • At least one technical certification in systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE), information security (e.g., CISSP), networking (e.g., CCNA), system administration (e.g., RHCE, MCSE), virtualization (e.g., VCP), information technology systems management (e.g., ITIL) or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
