We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Physical Education Teacher to join our team and inspire students across all grade levels.

Position Overview: The K-12 Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive physical education program that encourages students to engage in physical activity, develop motor skills, and promote healthy lifestyle choices. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to student development, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that align with state and national standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
  • Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other academic subjects and school-wide initiatives.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular sports and physical activities, including school events and field days.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and activities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical education.
  • Ensure the safety and maintenance of physical education equipment and facilities.
Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education (K-12).
  • Experience teaching physical education in a K-12 setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of physical education standards, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
