Upon successful completion of the Underwriting Academy training program, you will transition into the role of an Underwriter with increased responsibilities, autonomy and binding authority. Additionally, ongoing professional development opportunities will be provided to support career growth and progression within the organization.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

Must have the ability to work in the Hartford office for three days each week Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Prior internship or work experience in insurance, finance, or related fields is a plus.
