Job Summary:

The department of Cell & Developmental Biology is searching for an Anatomy Prosector and Instructor for the Pre-Clerkship phase of the MD Program with a start date of approximately June 1, 2024. This 1.0 FTE position serves in conjunction with other Anschutz Medical Campus (AMC) faculty and staff to prepare CU’s physician graduates to be systems thinkers, who provide exemplary patient and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the maintenance, dissection, and preparation of 16 human cadavers utilized for educational purposes in the MD program. Ensure that cadavers are appropriately dissected and prepared to facilitate effective learning experiences for students. Rotate throughout the lab during student sessions, offering guidance and support as needed. Dedicate two hours per week to conducting office hours for student inquiries. Facilitate open labs to further enhance student understanding and skill development in anatomical studies.

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.
