Our client is seeking an entry level Mechanical Engineer looking to learn and grow in the field of tool and die design and manufacturing for their niche business in Canton, GA. This is a growth opportunity for the engineer who’s long term goal is to become an Engineering manager over time. $60K-$70K to start

You will learn the following:
 
    • Create documents such as Work Instructions, tooling sheet for each process in Assembly, and Machine shop.
    • Maintain library for tooling and fixture designs.
    • Update and design dies based on customer product requirements (ongoing)
    • Develop preventive maintenance schedule for tooling, work with technicians ( internal) and/or outside vendors to ensure proper maintenance is being done on routine basis.
    • Drive and lead Continuous improvement and productivity projects such as cycle time improvement, reduction of cost, scrap, and setup change over time.
    • Organize the tooling and fixture designs, Bill of materials and Spare parts list and store critical Spare parts.
