Dental Hygienist for a fine quality modern dental practice. We have an opening position with many days available at your convenience. This office has multiple patients with your needed care. Should be comprehensive in treatment and able to perform many aspects of hygiene therapy including:

- Take X-rays when needed, including panoramic X-ray

- Take intraoral photograph when needed

- Perform routine prophylaxis, debridement

- Perform laser bacterial reduction

- Bleaching / Whitening 

- Perform scaling and root planning

- Perform laser bacterial reduction

- Provide oral hygiene instruction

- Applying fluorides and other dental decay preventing agents.

- Measure PD to aid in periodontal diagnosis

- Communicate oral findings to the patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes

- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality

Requirements:

- Valid state dental hygiene license

- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program

- Proficiency in patient assessment and treatment planning

- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred

- Familiarity with medical coding systems for billing purposes

- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices

- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions

- Ability to take vital signs and interpret medical imaging results
