Job Summary

A warehouse technician works with another warehouse technician to perform both the picking and loading of product throughout the shift as needed. When working off-line, a warehouse technician drives a forklift to load and unload transferred product.

Required Qualifications

Ability to maintain minimum pick rates and error rates. Ability to load and unload trailers. Ability to stack cases repetitively by hand, in sequence, and in rapid succession ensuring that product continues to flow. Ability to maintain inventory and code dates through the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Must be able to read a manifest. Must be able to count cases. Must be well organized. Must be able to work effectively with others. Must be able to work in a high pace warehouse environment. Must have or be able to obtain a McKee Foods lift operator license. Must be willing to obtain a McKee Foods Yard Dog operator license.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic computer skills. Knowledge of hand held and lift truck mounted RDT units.
