Using a business-focused mind set, the data scientist will build relationships with stakeholders throughout the company to provide the tools they need.

What drives success for a Data Scientist:

Requirements:Minimum 3 years of relevant data science experienceBachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldProven experience with a modern programming language (Python, R)Advanced SQL skillsProficiency with cloud technologies (AWS), Kubernetes, AirflowComfortable operating in an SDLC environment and deploying production engineering models and codeAbility to collaborate, build consensus, and influence cross-functional teams.History of success and a desire to drive results in a fast-paced environment.First-rate analytical skills, including a critical eye for detailExcellent communication skills with a customer-service oriented approachProactive, with the ability to solve problems independentlyExperience analyzing large datasets through data extraction, cleaning, and modeling to distill insights Nice to haves:Master’s degree in data science, data visualization, or another quantitative fieldExperience working with a Redshift data warehouse and standard AWS services (EC2, S3, etc)Experience with agile processesKnowledge of ETL and tools such as DBTPrior work with urban analytics, transportation, or cities
