Job Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Work 8 days on, followed by 6 days off, with 10-hour shifts from Wednesday to Wednesday, 1:30 pm to 12:00 am.
  • Special Skills: Candidates must be proficient in IV room operations, including sterile and hazardous compounding. Experience with automation systems is highly valued.

Certifications/Licensure Requirements: Candidates must hold an active pharmacy technician license in Arizona and possess an active Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.

Areas of Coverage: The selected candidate will cover all areas of pharmacy operations, with expertise in sterile compounding and hazardous compounding considered advantageous. IV room experience is also beneficial.

Common Duties/Job Requirements/Skills: Responsibilities include medication delivery, restocking of medications, and proficiency with Pyxis or Omnicell systems. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Shifts & Scheduling: Day and evening shifts are available, with weekend coverage required every other weekend or once per month.

Holiday Requirements: Candidates should be available for at least 2/3 holidays during the contract period.

Medication Dispensing Systems: Familiarity with various medication dispensing systems such as Omnicell, Central pharm robot and carousel, Omnicell XT cabinets, and Omnicell Controlled Substance cabinet is advantageous.
