Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Pickleball Director to lead and grow our pickleball program throughout our Association. The Pickleball Director will be responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of all pickleball activities and events within our association. This role is perfect for an individual who is enthusiastic about the sport, has a knack for community engagement, and possesses strong leadership skills.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in recreation or equivalent experience required. Masterly of the game of Pickleball including the ability to teach and share the sport with others. IPTPA Certified Level I Teaching Professional or PPR Certification or willingness to obtain Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations. CPR/AED/First Aid/Emergency Oxygen Administration certification- American Red Cross preferred. Essential Functions Organizing and overseeing the OCYMCA Pickleball Programs at all branches Developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to enhance the Pickleball Program and increase participation among members. Advise leadership on the development of Pickleball facilities and amenities. Implement and oversee tournaments, leagues, and special events to promote the sport and build community. Recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers for the Pickleball program. Lead the program with enthusiasm and positive motivation.
