 Casino Surveillance Officer

Location: Mr. Z's Casino, Pullman, WA
Wage: $17.00 per hour

Position: Casino Surveillance Officer.   Part Time

Job Summary:


Mr. Z's Casino in Pullman, WA, is seeking a detail-oriented and vigilant Casino Surveillance Officer to join our team. As a Casino Surveillance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the casino's guests, employees, and assets. You will monitor and report suspicious activities, enforce security protocols, and assist in investigations.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor Surveillance Systems: Operate and monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to observe and document all activities within the casino.
  • Incident Reporting: Identify and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, policy violations, and criminal activities to the appropriate authorities.
  • Investigation Assistance: Assist in internal investigations by providing video footage, detailed reports, and other relevant information as needed.
  • Security Protocols: Enforce casino security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all patrons and employees.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with casino management, security personnel, and law enforcement agencies to maintain a secure environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and federal gaming regulations and internal casino policies.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or disturbances, and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on the latest surveillance techniques and security protocols.
Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
  • Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment and software.
  • Understanding of gaming regulations and casino operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring surveillance equipment.
  • Capability to occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to obtain a Washington State Gambling license.
