Weekend (Part-time) Therapist - Social Worker - Counselor 

Turning Point has an opening for a part-time Therapist. Therapists at Turning Point provide individual and group counseling to adults with trauma, mental health, and/or substance abuse issues. Therapists must be aware of social factors affecting the psychological well-being of individuals, services/programs for psychological/sociological improvement of individuals, and in conducting evaluative interviews. 

Our continuum of care philosophy offers a vast range of services and benefits from inpatient hospitalization to outpatient programs with a “therapeutic community” which focuses on self and peer accountability. Our therapists and patients also benefit from:

This part-time, primarily weekend position will be scheduled to work every Saturday, Sunday and a third variable day within the week (based on program needs) from 8:30am to 5:30pm .

Qualifications Licensure through the State of Georgia in good standing: LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LAPC, or LPC is preferred Certifications may be considered with 5+ years of verified, relevant behavioral health experience (CRC, CADC, CAC) Competence in understanding and treating primary mental health diagnosis, substance dependence, and the treatment of dual diagnosis.
