The Data Analyst (Bank Rates) will be part of a team who works on various research reports and company documents to collect information & generate meaningful consensus from the collected data. This effort is coupled with real time monitoring of Bank consumer deposit and loan rates. As we explore data lean and automation within the organization, we are excited that you’ll be part of our new Web Automation process that allows automated data ingestion from the tool to the reporting system and thus, we need impressive technical background and skills that will fit this new opportunity.

This position is an excellent steppingstone to understand the global market dynamics, that will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market and enable you to learn the various facets of the assigned industry. Once strong fundamental understanding of the dataset and proficiency at workflow is developed, this role would require working with new talent to develop/enhance your skillset and working on process improvement projects including LEAN/automation projects.
Responsibilities:
You will primarily update Interest Rates for US Banks primarily through Internet based research according to SPGMI parameters. Ability to scale up automation efforts and usage of UI Tool supporting parallel execution and continuous improvements in identifying error checks and mapping capabilities on web automation process. Quick grasp on utilization of Web Automation process which is a new data analytics tool for rates collected via websites and pdf documents. Respond to data inquiries -- to actively track information on the covered content set falls under the preview of this job. Deliver accurate, timely output, applying 'doing right the first-time' mindset. Identify and report any new disclosure or gaps in policies/procedures. Contribute towards process improvement through error checks, audit suggestions, and tool enhancements. Innovate by identifying enhancement initiatives. Build subject-matter expertise towards various workflow, processes of the dataset including client related custom reports. Troubleshoots problems or issues and support team in enhancing the workflow/processes for department. Reviewing feedback involving transactions content to help correct errors and establish or refine procedures and processes to improve accuracy. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and utilizes upskilling and reskilling opportunities and platforms to expand existing skillset. Providing input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the dataset. Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.Basic Qualification/Competencies:
Minimum of Bachelor's/College degree and/or has prior experience working in a customer service setting. Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work Proven ability to work with minimal direction and maintain focus and motivation while working with routine and repetitive tasks. Background in MS Office Basic Python or SQL skills are an advantage Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness Open to fresh graduates Amenable to work the night shift and rotational shift.
