Key Responsibilities
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Cartons Specialist to support the Carton Filling team in ensuring the company’s goals and initiatives are met. This role will be responsible for demonstrating leadership behaviors consistent with TBG Values and Code of Conduct while actively supporting daily, period, and annual plans.
Tropicana is looking for a collaborative, safety-conscious team player who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and excels in troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
Additional responsibilities include:
Actively participating in department TPM objectives and priorities, including AM, PM, FI, and OCCI. Ensuring the reliable and safe operation of equipment through troubleshooting and maintenance. Facilitating effective communication across shifts, including safety, quality, and productivity updates. Proactively addressing equipment and process barriers, offering solutions, and recruiting necessary resources. Maintaining all areas to 5S standards and adhering to safety, quality, and GMP guidelines. Performing quality checks to meet Tropicana's high standards, including package integrity, fill weight, and expiration checks. Setting the example for safety by adhering to safety rules, procedures, and GMP policies while using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Supporting department initiatives by attending production, communication, and training meetings.Requirements
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of machine operator experience within a manufacturing environment. At least 1 year of mechanical experience (preferred). Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license. Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment in a manufacturing setting. Strong focus on quality assurance to ensure all products meet Tropicana’s high standards. Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week or 12-hour days, up to 7 days per week, if needed. Willingness to stay current with safety training and demonstrate adherence to all safety and GMP policies. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Benefits Overview
