Position Title: Lab Tech Jr.
Location: Gretna,LA
Shift hours:12:00 AM - 8:30 AM Wednesday - Sunday

Note:Bonuses-$1000 after 60 days and $1000 6 months (eligibility dependent on attendance, performance and behavior)

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and extract samples for GC/MS confirmation
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot lab equipment
  • Test and evaluate new reagents and calibrators
  • Perform maintenance and quality control procedures
  • Ensure confidentiality and follow security procedures
  • Comply with company policies and maintain a safe work environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical lab testing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and move freely
  • Must have corrected vision and hearing
  • Flexible to work overtime or different shifts

Travel Requirements:

  • Domestic travel may be required for legal proceedings

Mental/Reasoning Requirements:

  • Ability to comprehend lab procedures and guidelines
  • Capacity to handle stress and provide input on operations

Note: Varying shifts or weekends may be required.
