Spray Painter:
  • Must have 3+ years experience in applying marine coating of epoxy, high solid epoxy, and non-epoxy paint
  • Ability to apply coatings using a brush, roller, and/or spray applicator while maintaining desired MIL thickness
  • Experience working in a physically demanding environment:
  • Confined space
  • Working at heights
  • Use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment.
Certification:
  • Must be certified in accordance with NSTM Chapter 631, Section 11.5 Shipyard Blasters and Certification
  • Painter certification is required by NAVSEA Standard Item 009-32

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Pass background check and urinalysis

• Strong Work Ethic

• Must be able to lift 50lbs 

• Willing to work on/around ships
