Benefits • Hourly pay: $30-50/hr• Exposure to a professional consulting environment, building your resume for work in the public interest, and a team-based approach to project work.• Flexibility in schedule: We will work together to build a schedule of days and hours that fit both our needs and yours.

Skills Required: Who You Are: You are a graduate student or working professional with a keen eye for design and sharp skills in Adobe and Microsoft suites. You can nerd out on topics like ‘transforming neighborhoods by reaching underserved communities’ ‘telling visual stories through beautiful graphics’ and ‘design for accessibility and equity,’ enjoy working in a team environment, and bring strong communication and organizational skills. You are experienced with programs like InDesign, Illustrator and/or GIS. You are reliable, ready to learn, and passionate about community service. Education Requirements: Roles: The project associate will support a variety of Seva Workshop efforts, with an emphasis on graphic communication and document design. This includes document layout in InDesign, development of infographics and data presentations, and developing project branding and templates. The associate will work remotely, with occasional in-person meetups for events or for team collaboration. The schedule of hours and days can be adaptable to the associate’s schedule, and it is anticipated that workload will ebb and flow from week to week, based on project timelines. Specifictasks might include:• Translating Word documents into InDesign templates to createprofessional, multi-chapter planning and public policy documents and reports.• Synthesizing report highlights to create a visually appealing executive summary.• Developing project identity with color palettes, Word or InDesigndocument templates, and/or logos.• Designing print and web materials to support project communications and engagement.• Presenting technical planning work to a variety of audiences.• Materials development, attendance, or other support for engagement activities such as meetings or workshops, event tabling, interviews and focus groups, and/or advisory group presentations.• Organizing reports, copyediting written content, and creating draft materials.
