Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Coverage: Cover routes across various states, ensuring timely delivery of goods to specified locations. Routes are typically dispatched at 10:00pm.
  • Operational Hours: Work an average of 45-50 hours per week, generally within a 4-day work week from Sunday night through Friday afternoon, with drivers home on weekends.
  • Overnight Routes: Complete 2 overnight routes per week, ensuring all deliveries are made according to schedule.
  • Loading and Unloading: Use lift-gate, electric pallet jack, or cart/ramp for easier unloading into stores.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and DOT regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, as well as delivery and pickup records.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with store personnel during deliveries.
Qualifications:
  • CDL A License: Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a CDL A truck driver, preferably with experience in overnight and multi-state routes.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and use loading/unloading equipment.
